Chef, Pete’s Fish House

Pete’s Fish House is a new, modern seafood restaurant that recently opened in Capitola Village. Desmond Schneider is well-known in the area for his take on classic French and Mediterranean cooking. He was also the chef of Pizza Bones, a wood-fired pizza pop-up, and he revived the menu of Seabright Social this year. Before that, he was the chef de cuisine at Alderwood in Santa Cruz where they received a Michelin nod . When he’s not in the kitchen cooking and creating, he enjoys spending time with his three children, traveling, playing golf, and cooking for friends and family.
