My Name is Nico Long, I am a 43-yr old Chef by trade.
I was raised in Pacific Grove, my parents Tom, and Claudia Long were both restaurateurs, I grew up in the restaurant business and attended culinary academy when I was seventeen. I have worked in restaurants nearing 30 years as well as attending Sacramento State university and receiving my bachelors in Phycology.
I have been a Chef in over twenty countries ranging from Papua, New Guinea, to Ireland. I love bringing together simple Minimal ingredients, to create edible alchemy.
I look forward to attending and participating in the Big Sur Food and Wine this year. I have attended a few times in the past and enjoyed it every time.
