Marvin Green is a pitmaster from Roseville, California. He grew up working in a deli and barbecue in East Sacramento where he first learned to tend a fire. Given a massive smoker and the opportunity to pursue his own endeavors in 2021 he started Marv’s Barbecue. What began as a passion fueled restaurant residency has translated into sell out pop ups, colaborations with local businesses and an affinity for feeding the hungry. Since 2021 Green has been working with Al and Friends, a non profit that feeds the hungry in Monterey, as a guest chef throughout the year. While he loves cooking delicately crafted barbecue for sell out crowds, Green equally enjoys cooking for those who can’t afford it.
