Chris Schackelford
Prior to opening Trelio Food & Wine in 2006, Chef & Sommelier Chris Shackelford spent 16 years working in boutique restaurants and hotels mostly within the Relais & Chateaux affiliation. He has built and maintained multiple award winning wine lists and culinary programs through his consulting company, Creative Food & Wine.
Throughout the ownership of his restaurant and consulting company Chris has continued to hone his skills and expand into other areas of the hospitality industry. In 2020 he relaunched his wine club after a 10 year hiatus to be almost full within a year. Outside of being a business owner Chris continues to work as a chef, sommelier, and presenter for important food and beverage events and festivals.
