Clark Staub shies from the title “Chef.” A self-taught Baker and Cook, Clark is forever exploring dishes. Building and opening Full of life Flatbread in 2003 in the tiny Northern Santa Barbara county town of  Los Alamos, his location has become a hub for what has become a foodie destination.

Self-taught as a bread baker, Clark uses the same techniques of artisan bread baking to produce long ferment Flatbread Pizzas from a purpose self-built 23-ton stone wood-fired bread oven.

Full of Life Flatbread has changed its menu weekly for 20 years and Clark is a fierce supporter of local farms and Farmers’ Markets.

Never one to be ‘stuck in the kitchen,’ Clark has taken his kitchens outdoors and baked all over North America.
